The Florida QSO Party, one of the best ones around, starts tomorrow, 1600Z to 0200Z Saturday and 1200Z to 2200Z on Sunday.????? ? Mobiles make these parties, and mobiles a plenty there will be - nine of them, plus a number of roving expedition stations. ? Many of these mobiles will be CW only, but I will be out there trying to do both modes. While mostly CW, with some help I can be making a number of counties less rare on SSB. If you hear me on SSB, please spot me!? And if I ask you to move to SSB, or if you ask me, when we get there, please spot me as well. ? I'll be in the no-driver category. When parked (about 2/3 of the time) going to SSB is simple. When I'm driving (recording it for later transcription) I don't do SSB, as it's too distracting, compared to pushing a button and wiggling some fingers on a key on the center console. ? Sounds like good earth weather in Florida this weekend, and the space weather will be good as well. ? ?
