¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI had one QSO on 160m,? with K2J. ? My rule of thumb:? if I call 10 CQs in a row with no responses I change bands or go do something else for a while.? Sometimes I switch between 2 bands, like 30m and 20m this evening.? In both cases I got no responses following 10 CQs.? What¡¯s interesting is that on 30m at 8:30 pm local time I worked an RA1 whose signal was 599, several stateside stations all 339, a G4 at 579.? So conditions are open to parts of the world where most people are sleeping, rounded out by areas where they¡¯ve probably already worked K2B on at least one band (towards the certificate). ? Whenever I go on there, I hear no K2* stations, and very little activity generally, other than the local rag chews. I have a decent antenna, also. Lots of open slots, but why bother? Maybe late at night? I always wanted to try doing an all-nighter for 13 Colonies; any band recommendations? ? David, K2WPM K2B Coordinator ¨C 13 Colonies ?
