I did an hour on 40 SSB noon to 1 pm with a few dozen contacts ¡ª the page with the numbers is upstairs. Then went to 20 FT8 from 1 to 2 pm.? Enough callers but lots and lots of retries that cut the throughput. About a hundred Qs for the 2 hours.
Had a squeak of dumbassery on the 40m frequency but I ignored him and he didn¡¯t persevere.?
I¡¯m going back to 20 FT8/4 for the 3 pm slot and again at 9 pm. That may change since the upstairs heat pump died. It¡¯s kinda toasty in the radio room and I hope the repair tech will not arrive before I turn into a (baked) pumpkin. When the guy shows up I¡¯ll have to QRT to deal with him.?
