Definitely not.? Proper soldering
involves heating the points / pads / leads to be soldered to about
the melting point of the solder, then applying solder to the
joint.? This should be done fairly quickly.? Correct size / power
iron , experience, etc...? Like welding, it is easiest to learn of
fairly big stuff first, then work your way dow to smaller and
smaller, preferably on non valuable practice items.? Get a few
electronic devices at a tag sale or thrift store.

The soldering iron would melt the two solder pads (at least
somewhat) which seems like a bad thing,? but would simply dripping
solder wire down on to the two solder pads even allow proper
binding/adhesion between the solder wire and solder pads?? :/
Does anyone have experience with this?
