Hi everyone,
I just bought a K1000SE that won't boot. (It also has a sticker that says "Extended ROM"). I've opened it up and I have the multi-meter and soldering iron ready. :-)
The program and setup ROM tests come up 'ok.'
The RAM test gives error 07, plus some other stuff.
The Battery test gives error 11. (I Presume it needs a new backup battery.)
Just after some guidance that might accelerate my troubleshooting?
I'm about to re-seat all the IC's and connectors, check for bad solder joints and test power supply voltages.
