There's a debugged copy in the files section of the Facebook group. The reason for your copy 'not working' is in the (ahem) 'improved copy protection' that was part of the original disk - in other words you had to have it in the disk drive so it could be read by the program for verification. It's a pain in the bum particularly now that the4 original company Softworld no longer exists.
Luckily some years ago a guy on the Atari Forum very kindly sorted that out, and renamed it 'Debug' That now works if you copy it across to a hard drive without needing the key copy disk - You will still need it for the prog lists that came with the programe.
