Thanks again, I have now made the payment with the corrected email address. As with Rod, after doing so they showed the payee being K Designs rather than the email address itself, so I expect this to have been an instantly successful transfer. Phew!

With this long number thing, it can happen. I did it in a wimp. Not so clever, perhaps.
But Duckworks was also sending my fees to the wrong address. Looks like a virus.

Now I can see what happened;-) I copied Bernd's address from the instructions in the groups.io automated email version of the first message of this thread, and there I can now see that the 2 and 4 were transposed, so what I copied had 324000 instead of 342000. I'll make another payment tomorrow using the correct address as I know that PayPal will refund the one I made today, in a week or so's time from now. Third time lucky!!

I have had this PayPal account since 2001. It works. As Ron mentioned. Check that you
wrote my email address correctly. I got no warning from them.

Adrian, I experienced the same thing - I am the person Bernd is referring to. When I tried again, I discovered I had inadvertently entered Bernd's address incorrectly. When I entered it again correctly this time?Bernd@...?PayPal acknowledged it right away and recognized it as K-Designs. The transfer went through without delay then.?

Hi again, Benrd, I did use the Send Money method last time. My PayPal account shows the returned funds as being refunded by you. I've just tried again. Please let me know if you receive the associated notice from them.

Thank you for your intention to contribute to the costs of this group.
This is strange, yesterday another client had also a problem to contribute.
The easy way is to use the “Send Money” link on PayPal. This works
as usual.

For me, it works. I had forgotten it. Thanks to you, I found it back.

I found with the old provider a solution to retrieve my files.

But, I can only save file for file. There are around 48000 files to load down!

I'd tried Wayback Machine before creating this thread, and for me it doesn't work - some IP checking tool is blocking my access as presumably the tool isn't supported by the archive (screenshot below). Great that it is working for Bernd so hopefully he can download all of the text from one of the recent captures of the site.

Hi Bernd, is your main site undergoing an upgrade? For me, in several browsers, there is now only one page viewable - it has the home page URL but it is instead the Duo 1000 main page. There is a button for "multihull" (as is normal on your site) but that doesn't work - it is a label but not a button.

Do you know what is happening with the site??
