Thought I would share a link to some of the test trips I did this summer with my solar electric powered Eco 5.5. I presently only use a Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 motor which is a 5HP equivalent. For next season I will be upgrading to an Elco 20 HP.
Part of the task this winter will be in reducing weight out of the boat such as get rid of the lead acid house batteries to start.
