Hello,
After some more time to reflect on my poor behaviour¡
I can only offer a humble apology.
I have shown some of the terrible side of humanity.
I think the group and like minded people are an increfmdibly healthy thing for small boats whether you are a dreamer or not.
I am 100% guilty as I have certainly purchased more plans than I have built!!!
I hope I have not taken too much from the positivity and joy that this group and small boats bring.
My roots are dinghy racing and as broad as square rig sailing and presently in my 25 th year as a saturation diver in the offshore.
I have owned every manner of craft but can honestly say the fondest memories have been in small simple boats with good friends.
Please understand that I am embarrassed with my comments.
Kind regards,Chris

Hi Firstly an apology for anyone my comments offended.
I do not know any of you or the designer.
My motivation for the email was for Bernd to get something back in the form of an recognition and an apology for all the emails.
All the best with your builds.
Chris

Hi Chris, what did we (and, more specifically, I!) do wrong? In this thread we were merely responding to Bernd's request to help with funding to keep this forum alive. That's what I did once the error with the email address had been cleared up. It was only $10 that I contributed but it's not clear to me how doing so was evidence of me bothering Bernd.
But I am 'dreaming' right now, and in my first post in this thread I made it clear that I may well end up not buying a full plan set, but also I stated that I think this forum is a great resource in addition to the information within the small number of Bernd's study plans that I have purchased. I expect that study plans' revenue is useful for Bernd or he would not sell them, as well as helping dreamers like me narrow down their search and occasionally leading to an actual build project.
Apologies, Adrian
