he is the head teacher of the jazz program at UCLA, he just did a big duke
ellington celebration with Ray Brown, Herbie hancock and a bunch more for
dukes 100th b-day (if he was alive obviously). It was an impressive concert.
I'm not sure if theyre still focusing on ellington now that thats over
though.
