Vic was a great player. In the late 70s we played back to back gigs in a NJ Jazz Club. He was also a kind and gentle man. R.I.P.

Vic Juris was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago, and unfortunately died today. I was fortunate to have heard him perform a couple of times over the years and he was a great player. I don't know enough about him to give a more detailed comment, but I thought the list would want to know that he passed.
