Enclosure for 5" display

Jim Sheldon

The one Al built up in the blue eBay case really looks like a clean layout.? I just located that same case again on eBay this morning and ordered one to put the JackAl and a V4 uBITX in.

Anyone needing the eBay listing, it is:
and the price is $20.99 with free shipping in the US.

No connection or interest to the seller, just posting the info of possible interest to the group.?

Thanks Jim. I ordered one as well, says there's 8 left.

Can anyone confirm that the material of this enclosure is actually aluminium??
Other similar ebay listings (same image, same dimensions) describe the material as ¡°iron¡° which I¡¯m hoping is a bad translation of metal.?

I think this is the exact same case I bought (on Amazon). I'll plan to do mine exactly like Al did. Will look forward to getting the details.?

The panels are steel, not aluminum and that includes the cover and the frame members.
