I put a unsoldered opposite type cross wise to keep the header square and spaced correctly.? The I solder on pin on each header and squeeze do on the set reheat it.? Then I solder the other end

I think I have the same case. I used the front panel as a pattern and made a new one out of thick PCB I have.. could also go to the local hardware store and get a piece of aluminum.
