i also had a blank screen.? but what i found was some change in
compiling the code.?
go back and download and compile a known good copy of say .95
without making any changes and see what that does.? it worded for
me.? if you have done anything to the code try this.
if the 3.3v regulator went you would have scraped the teensy
also.

So it seems that the 3.3 v on board(jackAl) regulator took a dump,
even with all heat sink and fan (cool to touch heatsink)..and
probably sent the 12 volts to the display..
this caused the display to go blank (had been working though for
the last couple of weeks), but I never got through the cal
routine.
Just when I finally broke the code, and was going to try v0.96,
nothing !
replaced the jackAl regulator, no help...display causing the
issue, pulled the 3.3v regulator on the display it appears to be
ok, now will try and see if it destroyed the RA8875 chip.
BuyDisplay not interested in helping with a replacement (probably
because the JackAl board caused the issue.
There needs to be a bit of a redesign to add AL's mod for 3.3v
protection to the board itself.
UGGG.
More to follow...had to order another display.? Not happy.
