Re: two questions

Al and I are working on a new draft of the manual, since we had to build a couple of new rigs to test V5 of the uBITX. In the meantime, take your time and follow the manual, as what you need is there...just not as well written as we'd like.

my apologies.? this 76 yr old mind is not firing on all the cylinders anymore.

i was sitting here awhile ago and duh why did i ask that question.?

and i did find the two schematics that have the voltages just before i got your email.

oh well i just keep trying.? not much else i can do.

thanks dave k7da

The software is the JackAl software that is downloaded from the hamradiodesigns.com web site. As to the voltages, we assume that the rig is powered by 12V-13.8V from a suitable power supply. If you are building the JackAl and just getting started, you should apply voltage to the system and the JackAl board and check the output of the 5V and 3.3V regulators before you put the Teensy in place. Al has put voltages at various places on the schematic. If you have specific questions about those, check will Al as he knows the circuits forwards and backwards.

1. what software goes in the teensy.

2. is there a drawing that shows voltages to check when starting up?

thanks
