Thank you Jack.? Having gone through all the documentation I have
one more question.? Can you tell me precisely where the red wires
goes in below pic from assembly manual?? It looks like the inside of
C4?
Thanks,
Vince

If you wire up the connector,
it has "guides" on it that will only mate with the ?BITX
connector the right way. The schematic also shows the
connections.

The Audio Connector is detailed in the
wireup instructions on the hfsignals.com site, step
4.1:
Our connector simply replaces the one
above. The connection from the JackAl cable
harness to the ?BITX pot is also explained there.

Sorry Jack.? You would think after 40
years of sending engineering reports from the
field that I would pay more attention to
detail.
This pic is from Assembly Manual V16 ODT
file.? The IDC connector "To JackAl J11" to
"uBITx Audio Connector" and "uBITx Pot"? that
is unclear.

Are you talking about the
wiring harness assembly? I have attached
it in case you have not seen it.

Good
afternoon,
Reading through old messages I know
everyone involved is busy and being
pulled in several directions.? Is
there someone who has successfully
installed the Jackal PCB who would
email me a couple of pics of their
audio wiring harness.? Particularily
the 2X3 IDC connector end and the
volume pot end.? I think I could make
a wild guess but with the time and
money I have invested to this point I
would hate to blow something up.
