Re: Colorado trail group
14ers.com is a good resource, although focused on Colorado 14ers, they pretty much are good for any Colorado info. https://www.14ers.com/forum/index.php

Re: Colorado trail group
I’m not aware of any group like this one for the Colorado Trail. The Colorado Trail Foundation ( https://coloradotrail.org/) has a lot of good information and there’s also a Colorado trail forum

Re: High SierraCamp Loop
We carried water from upper Cathedral Lake when we did that trail. It was late season (sept) and a low snow year. So plan on that. It’s not ridiculously far to carry.

Joe:? Much (more) of what you are covering would likely have been JMT if Joe N LeConte had been able to get a mule over Gabbott Pass in 1908.? His narrative and? map of that journey indicate

I called a couple packers, but they only service outside Yosemite park. Yosemite concessionaire says since HSCs are not open this year, their pack mules are not running, but also said 3rd party

Yes, I also checked and HSC's are closed for 2022. Ya, we didn't make it to Sunrise last year, my wife's back was hurting too much and I had to take most of her pack weight and we ended up staying at

I am not totally sure, but because the High Sierra camps are closed this year, I don't believe there will be mule pack services going either...but I'd check with Yosemite. Can you lighten your packs
