I had a larger Flash (65 I think) which worked well for me but I wanted

I believe the flash has more support than the Mariposa. In my experience,
unless you get your total pack weight under 25lbs including food and water,
it's well worth the additional weight to have that

Was a bit South of there two weeks ago, Red's to jct with Rush Ck trl then out to Silver Lk. Not a single mosquito. And def no wasps. Nights are starting to get just a little colder.

Yes the road is best. There is a potable water spigot at the trailer waste station just before visitor center. But the trail to Pearson’s lodge is the historical route.
