I did put in a request about the off-line access. I am waiting for their response. I did not believe they had off-line weather. If they did, I am asking for history data to be retrieved. Five day forecasts are pretty accurate. Things start to get fuzzy beyond that period. I will post back how they respond.

Can you point to something on the OpenSnow/OpenSummit that claims you can get forecast data while offline?

I can't find anything like that.? The only reference to "Offline" access is the ability to , along with your phone's GPS to pinpoint your location on the map.
That's not the same as requesting and receiving back an updated weather forecast.
