Hi Jeff,
I knew about that inReach service, but didn’t know how to make it work exactly !?
Thank you ??
OpenSnow/Summit claim they work offline in Premium mode ?
Thank you for all the info again.?

I agree, for up-to-date weather, one must have some type of
electronic contact with the world. The OpenSummit/Snow grabs ten
days worth of information, though beyond 5 days things can change.
But it can give a great trend until next cell phone coverage. Just
not sure about opening the app and have it use the most recent
weather data to display.

Karina,
I don't think ANY of the weather apps mentioned work "offline",
i.e. with no cellular coverage.?
Have you looked at asking for a "Premium Weather Forecast" from
your InReach?
See here:?
Here is a separate free weather service for InReach that works
by you sending a message to a specific address and receiving
back a message with a shortened forecast:
Another one I found is OCENS SpotCast, which is not free.?
Never tried it.? The responses seem difficult to interpret in my
opinion.
