Hi Karl, is there a specific brand you like?

I carry a lightweight folding backpacking chair. Sitting in the chair at camp in the evening does wonders for my whole body!!! Small amount of additional weight too. I also like sitting in the chair in water to let the water run past and through my toes!!! Highly recommended.

In addition to a light pack, I carry a framed pack with a good hipbelt to transfer weight to the pelvis and off the shoulders. ? I have a diy version of z packs suspension that allows me to unload almost all weight off my shoulder strap. ? In camp I find I lay down or find a bracing log or stone.? Anything you carry to sit on will likely be in the 1-2 pound range.? Pre hike core strengthening exercises will also go a long way towards saving your back on trail
?Hi, I was wondering if any of you have found any lightweight options to provide low back support? at camp while backpacking?? Lately, I've found that I really need to sit with my back against a downed log or rock while sitting on the ground at camp.? I've been scouring the internet looking for products.? I don't really want a chair- like option but if it supports the low back and is light it might be an option.? I'd like something like the new Eagle Creek Hex 2.0 but it's over 1.5 lb and as we all know we look for less weight especially as we get older.
Thanks in advance for your ideas.
