Ridge's REK would like to thank Charlie Neal for his participation in our mini-camp. Unfortunately, Bob Lillis won the competition for the utility infield slot on the roster.?
REK releases Charlie Neal and claims free agent pitcher Joey Jay to serve as our blowout innings-eater.?

Contracts and details on how Free agency will work after we finish the 1965 season.
Lets try to have final rosters in by Thursday with how many contract years each player is being signed to(remember 85 years for your team).
FREE AGENCY? any player signed to a 3, 4, or 5 year deal will automatically go to the free agent pool after the final year of their contract.
Players signed to 1 or 2 year deals will go back to the draft.
After 1965 we will hold a free agency signing for anyone on an expiring 3 year deal.? All teams will be able to bid on the free agents.
INCASE OF A TIE BID If the tie bid is for 1-4 years and his last team is amoung the tied bids he will resign with his last team. (Hometown discount)
If the players last team is not involved in the tie, all the teams that are tied at the highest bid will have a chance to offer any draft pick that team owns? The player will sign with the team offering the highest pick, the pick will be forfeited. If 2 or more teams are tied and all offer a 3rd round pick the earliest pick in that round would get the player.
There is NO hometown discount on players being offered a full 5 year deal. Tie breakers are done the same as above.

Do we have a timeline for making adjustments to, and turning in, our rosters and contract allotments?
