off Billy Pierce brought the Cruisers all the way back from an early 4-0 hole and game K'ville a 3-2 lead going back home. Dick Stuart had a two-run HR and Mickey Mantle added a solo shot for K'ville. Don Mincher hit a two-run homer for the REK.
Game 6 @ K'ville 2 REK 1 (11 innings) -- K'ville clinched the series as Julian Javier squeezed home the game-winner in the 11th?inning off Billy Pierce to score Billy Williams with the bases loaded. Williams had given the Cruisers the lead
in the first with 2nd?of back-to-back two-out doubles to score Mickey Mantle. REK starter Claude Osteen singled home the tying run in the top of the 2nd?and the game stayed 1-1 until Javier ended it with the walk-off squeeze
to send K'ville to the World Series.?
