IC-746Pro For Sale
I have a 746Pro that was new in box when I purchased it in May of 2023.? It is still in like new condition and has zero issues. I have the original box and everything that came with it. For full asking price of $700, I will include? the RIGBlaster Plug and Play with all cables and software. I purchased that last summer but have never hooked it up.
I prefer local pickup in Buford, Ga, but am willing to ship at buyers expense or drive a reasonable distance to meet for delivery.
?
Thanks
Randy

If I didn't have one, I'd buy it - good price. But I have one (and
several other Icoms ...) and I don't think my SO would go for the "but I need a *spare*" story. On Mon, Sep 9, 2024 at 5:43?PM Randy Tonne via groups.io <randyt58@...> wrote:

Sorry I took so long to reply. Yes it is. Let me know if you have any questions. Mint mint condition, everything works . Haven't tried 2 meters but finally got an antenna so I can check that. I am amazed that these have held their value over the last several
years. I think I paid $850 for mine over a decade ago. These have held steady around $600-$650, occasionally going for more, even at hamfests. I sold mine when I bought a new 7300 in 2018 0r 2019. I liked that the 746 Pro did 2 meters (the 7300 doesn't), but I honestly didn't use that feature much. I do like the 7300, but the 746 was a good radio. You'll like the Pro. My advice would be to leave the power connector in place and add PowerPole connectors after the fuses so you don't plug and unplug the OEM Molex connectors, which are made for about 25 cycles of plugging and unplugging. While you can replace the connector on the radio, it's easier to wear out something easier to replace. Or, if it's going to only be used in one place, just leave the connector plugged in all the time. I had hoped to make it a mobile radio but it was really too big for that unless I wanted it to take up a spot on the passenger seat in my car. :-) Donald KX8K On Sun, 15 Sep 2024 10:53:01 -0400, "Randy Tonne" <randyt58@...> wrote: Sorry I took so long to reply. Best offer oaver $500.This is a good radio. I've owned one and liked it. I replaced it with a 7300. If you don't have the $700 or so for a used 7300, this is probably your next best option. I would offer $650 for your transceiver. I have owned one and liked it a lot but decided to go with the K-wood TS590 due to its ability to speak menu items. So now, I have an empty spot on the operating desk and would like to fill it! Does your transciever have the speech output module? Thanks a lot. You must mean Randy. I don't have a 746 Pro. I sold that several years
ago when I got my first 7300. Donald, Here's my reply to Randy's post Thursday, copied and pasted from the group website. The URL will also take you directly to that post. Note the quotation of Randy's post above where mine started with "This is a good radio . . . "? the line to the left of the quote shows where it begins and ends. In my email client, Randy's part has a ">" before each line instead to show it's quoted and not the current post. I'm not sure if that helps?

Denny,
I still have the 746Pro. It went back in the box in August.? I have not posted it anywhere so yes it is still for sale. I have everything that came in the box originally.
If anyone is serious about it, I can carry it to Dayton Hamfest.? Price is negotiable. Love the radio, just no room to have it as a backup.? I especially love the way the autotuner
works! Pretty much don't have to touch tune very often.
