I seem to have similar boot issues.? I did try it on two different Dell XPS laptops I have (they are older).? I bought a new 128GB USB stick and installed on it using BelanaEtcher and I also tried the "Imager" that is in Mint linux (I'm a 100% Linux user for at least the last 5 years or so).? When I boot to the USB, the newer laptop says "no operating system found" and the other just has a blinking cursor at the top left.?
All files are there so both methods did get the .img on the USB.? Looking at the bios on both laptops I can't find anything about UEFI boot, so that's probably the issue.? I have installed different versions of Linux on these many times with USB, so I know they work.? Just something with HamPC.
Anyway, I'll monitor the progress and give it anther try when there are new ideas.? In the meantime, I'm supper happy with HamPi and use it all the time.? Great stuff!? :-)
