Hi Christopher,
So, that's why I chose Xubuntu 22 -- it uses Xfce, which Raspberry Pi OS also uses -- that way, the menu system I created for the Pi is also used by the PC. It's nearly identical.
As far as finding the instructions to create a HamPi image, there are two places I'll point you to:
? <-- Ansible source code
<-- You can find instructions to build in the wiki
Hope this helps. 73,

Yes, thanks! You might want to try the Raspberry Pi OS desktop for x86 PC and Mac. It will have the same layout as HamPi that way.?
Do you happen to have installer script for HamPi??
HamPi uses the latest Raspberry Pi OS as a base. There are two editions -- Raspberry Pi OS 32-bit and Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit. There are HamPis built for both editions.
HamPC uses the latest Xubuntu, which right now is Xubuntu 22.
Have I adequately?answered your questions?
Right, but what Linux operating system are you using? Raspbian make a Raspberry Pi desktop for PC and Mac, the link I sent.?
HamPi and HamPC are two different operating system?images. HamPi runs on the Raspberry Pi and HamPC runs on the x86 laptop or desktop system.
Is this Raspberry Pi desktop?
Debian Bullseye with Raspberry Pi Desktop?
If not it may be better to use this image instead
Hi,
Ok, we have some issues. Now that you've pointed them out, can you suggest a way to improve HamPC?
Let's keep making the project better. This is a free, open-source project. How can you help make it better?
knew people would have problems with this
