Dow Relay for HT-44

Waldo Magnuson All Messages By This Member #31360 I generously received a 117 v Dow relay to connect my HT-44 and SX-117. I’m now wondering if the relay contacts in the HT-44 (pins 2-3) control outlet connector are up to switching the 117 V to the Dow relay. Or should I look further for a 12 V Dow? Figure5 in the HT-44 manual shows the use of a 117 V relay. Any concerns or am I overly concerned? Thanks. Skip Magnuson W7WGM

I never did get the Dow Key then as my lawn mowing money could not afford it. Built my own with? Potter Brumfield open frame relay in a mil surp relay box which I still have. Floyd - K8AC All Messages By This Member #31545 Skip - I don't mess with the relays.? I use a Johnson T/R switch - all electronic switching - and it works perfectly.? The B&W T/R switch also works well in this application. ? 73, Floyd - K8AC
