Hello everybody, I acquired a used 8920A in decent condition with what was described to me as "smelly power supply".?
Sure enough, many of elctrolytics were leaking and starting to damage the pcb. After replacing all those including the 2 safety capacitors (small cracks), voltages seem to be well within spec.
I was getting ready to contact Amtronix to send the unit in for check-up/calibration when I noticed, that it started to fail many of the RF tests. Of course this was not disclosed to me...
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
