FREE - six and a half foot rack
Dave Haupt
Yep, you read that right, free. Standard OLD 19"
rack. OLD rack with amateur upgrades, this OLD rack is one of the husky sort that OLD timers used to build big OLD amplifiers into. Like most OLD equipment, it's painted a black wrinkle. It's pre-WWII vintage (did I mention it's OLD?). Comes with the following guarantee: Your spouse will hate it. Actually, considering it's over 60 years old, it's in amazingly good condition. I'm to the north of the San Francisco Bay area. Generally, I'd like to say that this is for pickup only, but to be honest, I want it outa here, so I'm even willing to haul it somewhere not too darned far away. Oh, yeah, I can be talked into throwing in a big OLD plate transformer - 3/4 kVA CCS type. Just so you know this OLD rack really is ugly, I posted the story of my acquisition of it, and some truly ugly, er, representative photos here: www.sonic.net/~dhaupt/rack/rack.htm It would look a whole lot better if you just removed the added-on wiring. Yes, I did test-fit some HP gear into it. They are, indeed, standard 19 inch rack rails on the front. Regards to all, Dave __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
