That’s System II. They have removable handles. System I handles are part of the cast aluminum alloy side panels are are removable only by dropping the instrument from a considerable distance onto the handle. This process is not reversible!

开云体育?The 339A?is System II. ?Perhaps you are thinking of the 331A through 334A which are System I.

The System II designation refers to the second design of MODULAR case. Not all HPAK instruments use modular cases. Obviously the ones pre-dating? it? can't.
HP sold both original and System II cases along side each other at least into the seventies. Note that not all original modular cases (System I) had handles cast integrally with the side frames. you can't use absence of handles to determine case type. |

HP8510C Firmware C.07.00+
Gerhard Hofbauer
Hi,
I recently bought a 11575J Firmware upgrade kit, the 85101-80114 security key works fine, not so much the Firmware Floppy Disc (81501-80116). There is a disc error and the PG_8510C File is corrupted. Could somebody be so nice and send me a copy of the content of this disc? with very kind regards, Gerhard. |

开云体育I've opened up the case, and even if I
don't touch the electrolytics, I'm going to have to replace the
"delayed action smoke grenade" Rifa capacitors, before they
detonate.
That will give me some idea of how difficult it would be to replace the electrolytics. On 22/04/20 12:18, Peter Hansen wrote:

CRT Monitor module from HP8953E Available...
Gang,
I recently replaced a video monitor module in a HP8953E.? The original module had a small burnt section on one of the boards.? The CRT was producing bright and clear images before the module quit, but does have a slight burn, but should not be a problem.? I suspect the high voltage transformer is defective. The module is marked: Omni Vision, Inc P0615E3Y 970513 266 I believe this module is used in several different products. I would be happy to give this to a good home for only shipping cost or free pickup in the Los Angeles area. Burt, K6OQK biwa@... -- Burt I. I have a 5265A but not for sale. They show up on the auction sites occasionally but seem to be scarce. The blank covers are even rarer; the only ones I’ve ever seen for sale were part of a counter for sale. I wish you success in your search, Terry. 开云体育Drat :)
I've used the shunt technique in the past, and I definitely won't admit to leaving a shunt in permanently. I'm not sure what to look at next. The 8562 or a Datron DC calibrator, where the cal out isn't working - where the cal out voltage can be +-1kV :) Thanks again. On 22/04/20 12:18, Peter Hansen wrote:

PROBLEM SOLVED !
After the memory card was unplugged from the CPU card which has retention the battery and then plugged again the problem disappeared. Conclusion the ERASE ALL of the analyzer doesn't clear properly the internal memory, the only way to do a real clear is to disassemble the memory card from the CPU board of the 70900B. I presume also for the A version. Thanks to all of you who helped me. 73's pf -- Pierre-Fran?ois, F5BQP JN18AN |

Hello Tom those are switchmode related. I think you would benefit from recapping it. But as I said be carefull I one time lost connection to a middle layer and had bigger spurious. Had to trace it down. There are not many caps a few of the 180uF 3legged those
can be changed to 220uF 40-50V 105 degree type.
There are a few 1000uF and a 4700uF for 5V supply. You can also try to shunt the mounted ones to find the source of the problem. In your case I would chase it as it is rather bad.
best regards Peter

Thanks for a very fast response. The pictures are
with spurs at +-31.8kHz (-70dBc) and harmonics such as +-63.7kHz (-72dBc). I can't remember whether those are from the cal out or a separate OCXO I "repurposed" from a scrapped MDA. In any case the results are similar, and occur at other frequencies. Given that it is a 1989 machine with 630 hours, raised ESR is a good bet. While I have recapped PSUs before, I don't like doing it where there are ground planes. On 22/04/20 12:00, Peter Hansen wrote:

开云体育1) Yes, it was running during many years !2) Too bad ... 3) I'll re-install the CPU+Mem? boards and as I unplugged the Memory board from the CPU where the battery is located I'm sure the old programs are gone. 4) Not necessary it worked for years, this isn't a compatibility of the DLP with the last OSA firmware. If really needed I could reinstall the old PROMS as I installed PLCC sockets several years ago with the new firmware. I would like to avoid to do this because time consuming. 5) As I discovered this problem with the already loaded DLP since years and then with a fresh load (this morning) from the original personality I'm pretty sure than the DLP isn't faulty. For the moment I would suspect a faulty RAM, will continue to investigate. 73's pf Le 22/04/2020 à 12:43, jfphp via
