Battery for HP 415E
What would people recommend as a battery for an HP415E? The original battery option was a NiCd, but that tech is well past its sell by date ... I guess Lithium of some flavour is the preferred option

Bruce The ripple still is arround 10 mV for all the supply rails. The high band amp looks damaged too, but I am waiting for the low band to redo some test, maybe that improves the behavior in the high

From my experience, new aluminum electrolytic capacitors will often measure 10-20% low on capacitance. Older caps that from nonuse need to be reformed will measure higher due to thinner dielectric.
