The issue is the contacts as it is a drop in pack but I¡¯ve rebuilt them by resoldering those to the weld tab if you¡¯re quick nothing gets too hot at the battery! Adrian Sent from an I-thingy

Batteries plus may be able to weld you up a nicad pack. I would not use lithium and remember if you just use alkaline cells to put a diode in series with the batteries to prevent the charging system
