Yeah that's the guy who says it's "IBM 3740 format", and the lists 40 tracks, 9 sectors per track, and 256 bytes per sector. IBM 3740 format is 8", not 5.25". And it's 77 tracks, 26 sectors

Just for reference, the Sony Tektronix 308 logic analyser reads HP signatures. It's small, also does logic analysis :-) and often available for a lot less than HP signature analysers.

Don't use a Variac on modern equipment with switchmode power supplies. They are constant power so draw more current with lower voltage. Robert G8RPI.
