Re: HP 54720A PSU fault
I am glad you have a new PSU on the way and plan the fix the existing one. Sounds like a good strategy all around. One of the strangest "smoked PSU" problems I ever encountered was in a really nice

Re: HP 54720A PSU fault
Hi Matthew, Nice meter,? I think I'll have to add one of those to the repair bench. At the moment I'm using a DE-5000 LCR meter which does a stellar job of reading things like ESR etc. but I've never

Re: HP 54720A PSU fault
I don't have any specific advice on that model (54720) but I can say that this is the exact situation where a cheap in-circuit ESR meter will pay for itself with a few minutes of use. I have (and

This chip is used in the 8663A signal generator UHF Modulator A12A2 board. I would like to buy one, or find out where one could be bought. Might even be in the market for the board itself. Many

Re: Phase Locking an 8350 Plugin
Since you have the 934A HARMONIC Mixer whatever you put in to the LO port will give you fairly high level harmonics between 2 and 12.4 GHz. So if you are trying for 10 GHz (-20 MHz or + 20 MHz) you
