The first test is to check all fuses particularly in the back of the plug-ins. Then measure the power supply lines in the frame before you do anything else. I suspect this is not the problem, but you

When googling the part number (Mfr. code 312001) the manufacturer datasheet mentioned it's a fast fuse. Seems logical, since it's a first protection circuit from the AC line.

F1 of the IF section is certainly blown! Under the magnifying glass (such a thin fuse) I can see that the fuse is severed. I'll have to go and look for another. Hopefully that's all there is to it

I just noticed that in the manual scan mode the expected 'dot' on the CRT appears but turning the manual scan vernier shows that I can only move the dot from 6th vertical line through to the right of

Suggest that you first check the mating D-type connectors between the RF and IF Sections, these often cause problems especially if you are swopping RF Sections. If no luck with this, download Manuals

Does it have a "Geometry" circuit that takes X and Y as an inputs, multiplies them together, and outputs a signal(s) to the CRT? If not, I think you are out of luck. FWIW, -John
