Re: Attenuator "O" Rings
Same here. It's pretty likely you'll find your size if you get one of those

Do not know the (exact) size but I bought an o-ring kit for watches. From Amazon I think.

FS: PART OUT: HP 8620 Sweeper, 86222A 0.01-2.4 GHz Plug in (CROSS POST with "test equip...FS" group).
Howdy folks,
I am selling the subject line parts, and I understand this group is not primarily for selling stuff, but it *IS* for
repairing equipment.? ?Since I am willing to part out the sweeper,

Re: Is it worth looking for a R/3*2 Instrument Controller? - Feedback request
Hi Don,
Your statement that Motorola handled I/O well, but Intel
didn't, puzzles me.
Would you care to elaborate?

To be clear, I did not design that board; I fixed a few issues, readied it for production, and made a few boards. The original design was done by David Kuder.

Re: Is it worth looking for a R/3*2 Instrument Controller? - Feedback request
Way back when instrument control was the "Thing" in the instrumentation world. The HP controllers were focused on I/O control (Motorola based, PA RISC, etc.) (9825A, 9830A, 9845A, series 9000/200,

I managed to find your SMD version.
Only one issue is the hole locations -? other than that I think i will try your design on the 3852A. Will try up to 8 chips. I dont thin you can use more

Yes, it does look to be the same thing.
I too have a 3852A by the way. It has never given me trouble, so I've never needed to open it up.

That's not the project I worked on; the one I was involved in is just pure RAM, 7.5MB to fill the address space. No ROM. There was no discrete logic; everything was implemented in a GAL, and it

Re: Another 3GHz 53132-68003 Chanel 3 option design for the 53131A and 53132A
Hi,
I was also looking into these boards to add the 3rd channel and I found
out that all boards on eBay that have more than 3GHz you need to set the
SCALE to 4 otherwise it will not count

Tony:
The 53131A had three options for the channel 3 input, 3GHz, 5GHz, and 12GHz.
I have never seen anything on EBAY over 3GHz installed in a unit.
I have seen Chinese Channel 3 boards for 3GHz (a
