Seeking Spring Nuts for Series 1 cabinet
开云体育The top and bottom covers of the 740B are secured by screws which go through 6-32 J-style?spring nuts clipped onto the side panels. ?Except I'm missing some of them. ?The manual doesn't mention them.
These particular?spring nuts (speed?nuts, clip nuts, Tinnerman nuts, J-nuts, U-nuts)?seem to be obsolete or custom-made; I can't find anything to match.
The sticking point is the?1/8-inch panel depth.
All I can find?are for a 1/16-inch?panel.
Got any leads?
Thanks, Dave Wise
PS: I think U-style would work as well as J-style. |
Re: Problem with HP MMS 70000, USERLOCK ON
开云体育Hi JF,I could USERLOCK OFF with my HP computer using your method. I've tried to load again the 70875A DLP loaded into my 70900B and faced out to the same USERLOCK ON ! I guess the program is corrupted (ERR2001), tomorrow I'll try to reload it with my original personality module. May be due to the 70900B battery which could be out of gas . Will see. On Behalf Of Peter Hansen ? hello Stu if you look on A2 on the side you see the LEDs for the PSU. All should be LIT. I am sure this is not a PSU issue. If you work through the 300/600Mhz chain with an osilloscope you can check where the signal dissapears. I remember the 600Mhz is made in a doubler and if signal is too small you have not enough for doubling to 600Mhz. best regards Peter ?

I just looked at the Op-Servs and as I remembered the E & EL are 10MHz and do 1mV FSD whereas the F & FL are 4MHz and do 100uV FSD.

Both have a switchable 100KHz low pass, neither is much good about 15dB below its FSD on the lowest ranges and while both are RMS -reading- both are average -responding- You have to get into the 3400A/B series to have true RMS and although much quieter they do only 1mV FSD. The 'A' is good to 10MHz while the 'B' is good to 20. Bill All HP-400 AC voltmeters have 10 Megohms input impedance: the solid-state E/EL, F/FL, and GL, and the older hollow-state D, H, and L, plus rack versions of the latter three. The solid-state voltmeters have a range of 10 Hz to 10 MHz while the vacuum tube versions are limited to 4 MHz. As usual for HP, the frequency range is conservative. [From the 1970 HP catalog.] |
