I know on start up prob fail on ATt Bd Communications. I thought if I could bypass the connector plug with a looping plug, maybe I could get past that error to see how good she is, See them on ebay

Heat definitely softens it. My understanding is that acetone dissolves it, confirmed when I needed to remove a bunch which somehow found its way onto one of my fingernails.

That would depend on how heavy the base metal conductors are in the region of the indium solder. 3-4 amps isn't an awful lot unless you are trying to push it through 30 AWG wire. Through 18 Ga wire,
