I'm cross posting from the Tek scopes group... I have both 318 and 338 baby logic analyzers. Cute little things. They both run identical hardware with exception of the acquisition board pair.

That is an easy question to answer: If it is a 318, it will acquire at 20ns: async or sync... I don't recall if the glitch position changes the maximum acquisition rate, but you might want to check...
