No, I guess I wasn't clear:? a single E2050A (or similar) is sufficient to control the entire bus.? Admittedly I only have three instruments connected at the moment, but it's made by HP and designed to master "typical" GPIB setups.? I would expect it to work with whatever the GPIB spec says is the maximum bus size.
