1) You have your Xs and Ts transposed.

2) Looks like it crosses to a CXT2222A currently in stock at Mouser and likely others. The "extra" lead in the body is just like the tab on a TO-220 case; in this case it's the collector as is the center pin.

Tracked down the fault in a 8560E to failure of the regulator transistor in the 100Mhz VCXO. Substituted the supply and the oscillator circuit is drawing little current so I am not sure why it would have failed except there is evidence someone changed the crystal so might have been their fault.

The transistor is listed is a 1854-1094 or manufacturer part number PTX2222A. Google this results in a lot of Japanese and NPN thrown in the mix. The Equivalents List says it is a MTX2222A which is also a mystery.

I am assuming it is a SMD style 2N2222A but the under body solder pad with the 4 legs has me a bit concerned it might be something special. Anyone know this device? ? ?
