Thank you, George!? I haven't actually tried a cal yet, because I wanted to thoroughly understand the process before going down that path.? I gather that you can cal the other mode zero offsets in a similar manner.? I will try this and report back - please feel free to visit my 3468A thread where the ongoing discussion seems to be replacing the backup battery.? I don't think mine is a candidate for this yet.? ;-)
Yes, the shorts I'm using were just spare jumpers used for a check to see whether there was a serious issue with the zero.? I have a shielded connector which ought to be a suitable short for zero cal purposes.
