The 4285A precision LCR meter, which has a basic accuracy of 0.1%, was supplied with a 100-ohm resistor as a standard accessory. It is used when calibrating the instrument with extension cables (1 m or 2 m). Does anyone know the specifications on that resistor?
I have a 4285A and the resistor. If the resistor is connected to the front of the instrument, with all corrections off, the instrument reads about 100 ohms, but obviously, there's some variation with frequency.
I have no idea if these figures are to be expected or not.
