Norm,? thanks for the insights on the printer.? I will keep it, as it's my only duplex unit (not counting my daughter's unit).? I may pick your brain regarding MRO supplies if any are needed in the future.? I do weigh the cost of the supplies against just using a single sided printer and spending more on paper.? Or I may bite the bullet and buy one of the newer color laser jobs for around $200.

I had an 8550dn for? a good while, but the toners went up? up up in price so I figured it was in obsolete mode.? Now I use a 4700n color with good results.
I had a nice 5si, but the plastic frame doing the engage and latch of print drawers cracked on two of them and I sent them to the crusher.
4050tn is OK, but not nearly as robust as the 5si, (until the plastic cracking death happened) So sad.
