I agree.??? I got concerned that the thread would get hijacked using
Harvey's description.?????? HP-HIL is the "human Interface Loop" for
keyboards and the like, and HP-IL is the "low power" loop to
transfer data between instruments and other peripherals, sort of
like a low power, serial version of HP-IB.??? Entirely different!??? So
just to set the record straight.....

old pocket computers. I think one of my very
old logic analyzers used
HPIL, but that's all I have. Those little
pocket computers are not
currently functioning, though.
