Also looks like it's the same lid as the 859x series spectrum analyzers.?

Yes, a front cover was standard. The cover has a small hinged-door storage
compartment on the inside for power cord, test cables, etc.
I'm sure Rick at Amtronix has extras, he buys/sells/repairs a lot of the
8920 series monitors.
