Hi Marc, thanks for your? suggestion, in fact , it seems that no keys are stuck, because when I press any key a message appear on the display (see the picture on picture section) indicating ¡°caution invalid key¡± , but I am going to check your suggestion nevertheless.

Is it possible that A2 will be out of order ? I am waiting a replacement board found on the bay , but cannot exclude that the problem is inside the cpu board.

P. S. It is a 8741A with an I/O expander D8243C from Nec

Hi on1ev,

I quickly browsed through the schematics, it seems the keyboard consist of board A1 with all the keys, and board A2 with a 8741 (or 8751?) scanning the keys and interfacing to the main CPU.

Now the explanation of the error (invalid key) says "You pressed an unde
fined softkey", so maybe you just have a stuck key? You could probably test this by disconnecting A1 and A2.
