Hi group:
I was lucky enough (?) to obtain a pile of HP 8153A lightwave
multimeters in a pile of other equipment -- but no plugins. They do
not give any display, and since I have so many of them all
identical, my assumption is that it is "normal" for them to not give
a display without a plug-in. I'm eBaying them now "as-is" (gotta
clear some space and fund other endeavors) and someone suggested
they should give a display even without a plug-in. I don't want to
sell any "junk" without full disclosure (not my cup of tea -- I've
been burned myself so many times buying equipment off of eBay that I
know only too well what it's like) so I need your collective
experience on this.
Can anyone tell me for sure -- should an HP 8153A do anything on
turn-on if it has no plug-in in one of its bays?
Thanks to all,
-Keith
