Stay away from IE7, IMHO. It's a piece of junk. It won't even open a
0-byte .htm file on your local drive without forcing you to click through a
scripting-security warning.
IE6 is fine, and so is the current (2.0.0.1) release of Firefox although I
haven't tried to access LOGSA with it. It looks like the security strategy
in IE7 and Vista will be to condition users to click "Yes" throughout an
endless series of permission prompts. Microsoft calls it a "sandbox," but a
psychologist named B.F. Skinner had a different name for it...

Subject: [hp_agilent_equipment] Re: LOGSA AND IE-7 ???
About 3 months ago, I downloaded the Beta Version of IE7 from the
Microsoft site. After encountering compatability problems with some
websites, I decided to fall back to the IE6 release. BIG MISTAKE!
The uninstall program for the Beta IE7 left my computer in an
unbootable condition. I had to go through great pains to get rid of
the various IE7-related files on the computer and get everything
working as before. Now, I'm a little apprehensive about upgrading
to the IE7 Release Version.
