I have a non working Hp8350B Sweeper, with 83592A (10MHz-20GHz)Plug-in.
On Power-up it occasionally displays error message E080. (now seems to be permanent).
I would like to know what this means and would be grateful for advice.
There are other faults, which may be related:
The "Unleveled" light comes on and remains on.
There is no RF output.
The correct voltages are present at the YIG Oscillator (5086-7337). It would seem the the YIG oscillator is probably dead. I might be looking for a replacement Yig, but not just yet.
